The Fitness Pursuit offers a variety of group programs throughout the year. Programs are designed to help athletes prepare mentally and physically for various distances and event goals through key workouts that focus on technique, endurance and speed. Preseason Perfection
January 9-April 10, 2010: $175

This half marathon based running program will help participants improve running technique and conditioning. Program will provide a training plan for a spring half marathon, and will help participants prepare base for faster summer races, whether they are triathlons, 10Ks, or marathons. Sessions will be held at many Lake Co. places. Starts Jan. 9 @ 8am.

PC Base & Strength*
January 11-April 5, 2010: $225

Program helps participants improve conditioning in the preseason through a combination of running and strength training workouts and weekend long runs. The program will include a weekly plan for a 5K, 10K, or half marathon. Sessions will be held at Prairie Crossing and favorite local running areas for long runs. Starts Jan. 11 @ 6pm.

Super Summer Speed
April 20-September 21, 2010: $200

Proven results! Program will be laid out systematically to increase running pace with various speed workouts like fartleks, intervals, hills, tempo and lactate threshold heart rate (LTHR) testing Program will include weekly running suggestions to work toward season goal. Starts Apr. 20 @ 6pm.

PC Speed*
April 19 -September 20, 2010: $175

Program will lead participants through focused workouts in order to help the body tolerate faster running. Weekly running workouts will include tempos, hills, and intervals. Sessions will be held at Prairie Crossing. Starts Apr. 19 @ 6pm.

*Prairie Crossing programs are requests of a small group of residents within the subdivsion who hire TFP as a group trainer. There may be room to add additional participants to these programs; however, there is a registration max to allow for space and available coaches. Please contact TFP with interest and questions.
